Backpacks and Shoes Delivered to Alum Creek Elementary
Being help, hope, and home in the body of Christ means serving others. Our Community Care Team helps find and coordinate ways we can serve our neighbors. During the last few weeks you all helped us meet a couple of community needs.
Thirty-two pairs of shoes (with socks) and 63 backpacks with school supplies inside were delivered to Alum Creek Elementary School!
The principal, school nurse, Dave, and others were there to receive the items. They were much appreciated. Parents already were there to pick up the shoes for their children.
Thanks to all members of the Community Care Team who planned, shopped for, and completed the projects. Community Care sends special thanks to those who took their personal time to get shoes and socks for some of the families— Judy Knox, Ted and Barb Toler, Marcia and Stu Schwalm, Dave and Mindy Simmons, and Don and Betsy Sager. Those who have delivered to Alum Creek in the past know the feeling of God’s approval and blessing.
