Thrivent Action Teams

Thrivent is a not-for-profit Christian financial services company. It supports its members who volunteer to lead “Action Teams” to meet unmet community needs by providing funds to assist with expenses involved in meeting community needs -- a great potential partnership for our ministry teams!

Rev. Frank C. Ruffatto talks with Thrivent Financial advisors Brett Richards and Joy Durst about how Thrivent Action Teams can help out our Mission and Ministry Activity Teams.

Here’s how Action Teams work: 

If you are a Thrivent benefit member or associate member, think about an unmet need in our community and how you could help. Apply to lead your volunteer team in a one-time fundraiser, service activity or educational event that can be completed within 120 days. Once your project is approved, you’ll receive a Thrivent Action Kit that includes:

Thrivent Action Team T-shirts and other goodies to help your team.

A $250 Community Impact Card you can use as seed money to get your project off the ground and make a bigger impact
